About

Grounded in Faith, Hope, and Love Providing Light for the Way

For over eight years, Aaron has served as a full-time chaplain for law enforcement and emergency services, providing crisis intervention, pastoral care, and emotional support to first responders, their families, and individuals facing trauma, grief, and loss. Walking alongside people in their most difficult moments has deepened his passion for guiding others through adversity and equipping them with the resources, encouragement, and resilience needed to heal. These experiences have led him to pursue further education in leadership and counseling including certification as a North Carolina Fee-Based Practicing Pastoral Counselor, NCFBPPC, while under the supervision of Dr. Robert Hamilton, DMin, NCFBPPC. As a pastoral psychotherapist under supervision, Aaron offers professional counseling services with focuses in trauma, grief, stress management, and personal development. He integrates a faith-based perspective with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, helping individuals navigate emotional and mental health challenges. His counseling philosophy centers on fostering emotional resilience, self-discovery, and practical strategies to empower clients in both their personal and professional lives. Furthermore, in his coaching roles, Aaron takes a person-centered, goal-focused and solution-oriented approach. He empowers individuals to overcome challenges, harness their strengths, and achieve meaningful professional growth by utilizing SMART goals to create clear, actionable, and measurable paths to success. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with minors in Pastoral Studies and Counseling from Carolina University, a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership from Liberty University. He has also completed six units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), holds certifications in marital and premarital assessments from Prepare/Enrich and SYMBIS, and is a certified Master Coach with Performance Protocol. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary to further deepen his expertise in therapeutic care. He is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, AACC. At this time, Aaron is virtual and telehealth only. He offers a sliding scale fee (no insurance).
